During PE, we have been working alongside G4-7 on our Orienteering topic. We have followed maps, designed our own maps and used maps to create tricky mazes. We then applied our orienteering skills to follow a large course around the whole school, we had to apply lots of decision making and speed when competing against other groups!
We explored the digestive system by recreating the main features of the digestive system in the classroom - this was very messy and lots of fun.
We mushed up bread and orange juice in a plastic bag (the stomach and stomach acid) and we then squeezed this through a pair of tights (intestines) to extract the nutrients and water. We emptied the tights (you know what part that represents!), this was very messy.
